How to Make Oven Baked Donuts
In terms of the equipment, for best results and to get the perfect shape of baked donuts use a donut pan. You’ll also need a piping bag to evenly distribute the dough into the pan. You can either use a store bought, re-usable piping bag or make one at home either using parchment paper or a plastic bag (just cut off the edge of the bag).
As for the dough making process, this recipe is very easy to follow. You’ll only need to mix dry ingredients with wet ingredients using a spoon and pipe the dough into the donut pan.
Making Your Own Apple Cider Spice at Home
Apple cider spice has one of those scents that instantly gives everything a more intense autumn feel. It’s rich, aromatic and combines some of my favorite spices. To make these baked apple spice donuts you’ll mix together:
- Cinnamon;
- Clove;
- All spice;
- Cardamom; and
- Ginger.
Make sure to follow the right proportion of the spices, not to overdo it and to get the right balance of spicy and aromatic.
