Easy good morning smoothie idea! This combo is vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, naturally sweet and makes for a great and simple breakfast idea.
This smoothie is a great idea for when you’re feeling in need of a lighter breakfast. It might also come in handy now, that temperatures are starting to rise and we are beginning to crave chilled and light yet nutritious breakfasts. I made this smoothie with almond milk and didn’t use any yogurt, to opt in for a lactose free version. Instead, I packed it with fresh fruit and some oats to make it just perfect for your first meal of the day.
How to make a simple, good morning smoothie without yogurt
It takes no time at all! Just prepare all the ingredients you need, wash up the fruit and prepare a blender. If you don’t have a blender at home, I can tell you from my own experience that it’s one of the best kitchen appliance investments I made so far. I use it regularly to make sauces, dips, homemade peanut butter & hummus or even some types of flour. But, going back to our smoothie…
You’ll need:
- a banana;
- some strawberries;
- oats;
- almond milk to add a bit of flavour and help make smoothie less thick.
If you decide to give this smoothie a go, don’t forget to take a photo and share it on social media for me to see and share with others!
Enjoy!
